1940s Photoshoot Hen Party in our portable photo studio

…And now for some more glamorous moments from this summer, from a 1940s photoshoot in our portable photostudio. This was for a particularly lovely group of girls, for a hen party this July. The Charleston Dance & Vintage Hen Parties team had a real treat with this one, it was one of my favourite shoots from the summer, as the girls were great fun and happy to experiment with a variety of 1940s fashion styles, from tea dresses to daywear to 1940s movie star style gowns.

We were inspired by 1940s vogue and other 1940s fashion photography for this shoot. Further inspiration came from the wonderful dressing by our vintage clothing expert Ali from Frock n Roll, which went very nicely with our props and accessories.
