Here’s a special one that I really enjoyed last year! Lovely, very English Juliette lives in Oz, but bought a birthday present with a difference for her best friend Maddy, as she couldn’t be in the UK for Maddy’s 1920s themed birthday party.
They had themselves dolled up with 1920s style hair and make up, as Mandy is mad about that era, and 1920s fashion! They hired a spare dress from Vintage Vogue (Maddy had her own amazing LeLuxe beaded gown, all ready for her 1920s bash the following year!). We taught them to Charleston dance of course, and we were really proud that they tried some pretty difficult Charleston moves as a duo that larger groups rarely accomplish.
Shimmy-Lin takes to the camera!
And I am proud to have clicked away taking pictures on Maddy’s very swish camera to help them do their own mini 1920s photoshoot! Maddy did the editing though, and added the vintage effects, so I can’t really take credit! Golly gosh, jeepers creepers! Don’t those dolls look swell?
These ladies were really a pleasure to hang out with for a day! Thank you girls, for allowing us to post the pictures!
And what’s more, Maddy then booked our dance teacher to come and get the guests dancing at her 40th birthday party. Pics coming soon!
